Course Introduction

Preparing Security Plans and Managing Comprehensive Risks provides participants with a structured approach to developing effective security plans and managing a broad range of organizational risks. The program focuses on proactive security planning, threat identification, vulnerability assessment, risk analysis, mitigation, and preparedness, enabling organizations to better protect people, assets, facilities, information, and critical operations.

Participants will examine the key elements of an effective security plan and learn how to align security measures with organizational objectives and risk exposure. The course also addresses the relationship between physical security, operational risks, emergency preparedness, crisis response, and organizational resilience.

Through practical scenarios, risk assessment exercises, and security planning activities, participants will learn how to evaluate vulnerabilities, prioritize risks, establish appropriate controls, and develop response procedures. Emphasis is also placed on monitoring security performance, adapting plans to changing threats, and strengthening communication and coordination across relevant teams.
