Course Introduction

Information is one of the most valuable assets in any organization. With increasing cyber threats, regulatory requirements, cloud adoption, and digital transformation, organizations must strengthen their information security management to protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Information security is not only a technical responsibility—it requires structured governance, policies, risk management, and continuous monitoring across the organization.

To support this need, BOOST Consulting & Training has developed the Certificate in Information Security Management Principles (CISMP) program to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of information security management principles and best practices. This course bridges technical security concepts with governance and risk management perspectives, making it suitable for a wide range of professionals.

The program focuses on establishing an information security framework, identifying and assessing security risks, implementing appropriate controls, managing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with policies and recognized standards. Participants will also explore how to build a strong culture of security awareness within the organization.

Through practical examples, case discussions, and structured frameworks, participants will gain the knowledge required to support information security governance and contribute effectively to protecting organizational information assets.
