Course Introduction

Organizations today depend heavily on IT systems and digital services to operate efficiently and deliver value to customers. Any disruption—such as cyberattacks, system failures, human errors, power outages, or natural disasters—can result in significant financial losses, operational downtime, reputational damage, and compliance issues. To ensure resilience and continuity, organizations must establish effective IT Disaster Recovery Planning (IT-DRP) capabilities that enable rapid recovery of systems, data, and critical services.

To address this critical need, BOOST Consulting & Training has developed the Certificate in IT Disaster Recovery Planning (CITDRP) program. This course equips participants with structured methodologies and practical tools for planning, implementing, and testing IT disaster recovery plans aligned with business continuity objectives.

The program focuses on conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA), defining recovery strategies, establishing disaster recovery governance and documentation, developing recovery procedures, testing and exercising DR plans, and continuously improving organizational readiness. Participants will gain the competence to reduce downtime, support regulatory compliance, and strengthen overall organizational resilience.
