Course Introduction

Course objective

- Gain proficiency in defining and managing the supply chain network, including managing master data for customers, suppliers, products/items, engineering, and logistics, and developing and maintaining reports, analytics, and metrics.
- Align sourcing activities with demand, effectively manage categories for sourcing products and services, evaluate and select suppliers, and manage purchase orders to optimize the sourcing process.
- Plan operations, manage inventory efficiently, measure and assess performance, and analyze and utilize applicable continuous improvement philosophies such as lean principles and six sigma.
- Understand how to define and manage distribution networks, provide distribution services, evaluate trade considerations, design and manage reverse flow, and effectively manage customer and supplier relationships.
