Course Introduction

In today’s resource-constrained and results-driven environment, securing approval and funding for projects hinges on one critical deliverable: a compelling, well-structured business case.

For the Project Management Department (PMD), the ability to develop persuasive business cases is essential—not only to justify new initiatives but also to align projects with strategic objectives, demonstrate value, and earn stakeholder buy-in.

This intensive 5-day course equips PMD professionals with the practical skills, frameworks, and confidence to build robust, credible, and decision-ready business cases.

Participants will learn how to articulate clear problem statements, quantify benefits and costs, assess risks, and present recommendations that resonate with executives, finance teams, and sponsors. Through real-world examples, templates, and hands-on exercises, attendees will transform from project coordinators into strategic business advisors.
