Course Introduction

The ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S) Lead Auditor course is a professional training program designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills required to audit and evaluate workplace health and safety management systems.

ISO 45001:2018 is the international standard for occupational health and safety, focused on reducing workplace risks, preventing injuries and illnesses, and creating safer working environments. It replaces OHSAS 18001 and provides a modern framework for risk-based safety management systems.

This course teaches how to plan, conduct, report, and follow up on internal and external audits in accordance with ISO 45001 requirements. Learners will understand auditing principles such as independence, evidence-based auditing, risk assessment, and compliance evaluation.

A major focus is on identifying workplace hazards, evaluating safety risks, and ensuring that organizations comply with legal and regulatory occupational health and safety requirements. The course also covers lead auditor responsibilities, including managing audit teams and communicating audit findings effectively.
